Damaris Robin Martinez

July 25, 1973- November 5, 2025

Damaris "Robin" Martinez, founder of Eagle Rock Therapy, was a cherished partner of Be Well Resources. Damaris was a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a proud graduate of Fuller Seminary. She devoted her life to creating safe, healing spaces that empowered others to move toward wellness and wholeness. Her passion for self-compassion, trauma healing, and advocacy for inclusion touched countless lives in Los Angeles, New Mexico and across the world.

Damaris’ journey with Be Well began in 2016, when she attended a Vision Board workshop with Be Well founder Kathy. Over the last decade, Damaris became not only a dear friend and community member, but a trusted partner who helped bring our first self-compassion and trauma therapy class to the community in the summer of 2025.

In honor of her faith, light, and commitment to helping others, Be Well has established the Damaris Martinez Memorial Scholarship fund (below). We invite you to join us in celebrating Damaris’ life and carrying forward her mission.
